Update

Okay, I know that I've been flaking on updating my blog. I'm going to give you an excuse because that is exactly what it is an excuse. So on May 5th, my dad's uncle/godfather passed away. He actually died nine months after his ex-wife who he loved a lot. I also got sick for almost a week before Memorial Day weekend. I'm still recovering from that even though it's been nearly two weeks. Whooping Cough has been going on around my school, and I was freaked out that I had it but I'm not really sure at the moment. For Mother's Day my dad bought my mom a bouquet of assorted flowers.

We had to wait a bit for the second part of my mom's gift. It was actually something that I'm quite proud of. I actually created a self portrait of myself for my art class and my dad bought it for my mom. We had to get it framed and it took longer than we planned but it is now sitting in our living room on the wall. It looks like it always belonged there.

My dad bought himself a laptop last month... I am now giving him computer lessons. He has an email and a facebook now, which is cool. He also has a youtube account, but I doubt that he'll post any videos. Actually I recently discovered that I have a ton of family on facebook... my dad has a bunch of cousins that facebook accounts. It's insane, I'm pretty sure that over 50% of the facebook population is related to me. But it really doesn't matter.

Okay, I just recently got the bought a book of Edgar Allen Poe short stories and poems. I also bought a Emily Dickinson poem book. I have enough books to last me through next year... So I don't really need to buy anymore. I've been trying to discover who I am as a person but it's a little difficult.

I'm going to be going to Cali later in the summer to say goodbye to my grandpa as he is currently on his deathbed. He's been on his deathbed before and fought it but I'm not sure if he'll be able to fight this time. I know that he's trying but I don't know if he'll survive.

It's getting late and I'm getting morbid. I'll update you later with some pics, hopefully soon! =)
